We are currently searching in for an energetic, organized “Manager - Service and customer support” to support service and best in class customer service at Milwaukee Tool Japan office. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail will be key.  Successful candidates will have experience in the Industrial tools segment with well-defined Service & customer service skills.  We invite you to apply and learn more about our company & this exciting opportunity.

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

Successful candidate will be responsible to manage the Japan Service Center & daily service operations – Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Ensure the service facility is furnished with the correct tooling & equipment to provide a high-quality repair with the fastest possible turnaround time
  • Train our commercial partners, their staff & if required, end users on the repair & maintenance of the Milwaukee range of products that are available in the Japan market.
  • Work closely with our Asia service teams to manage inventories of spare parts & spare parts pricing
  • Continually monitor quality in market & work closely with our Asia teams to resolve challenges faced or communicate opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare monthly service reports in line with expectations of the Asia service teams
  • Work with our Asia teams to define & execute an internal training plan, providing a personal development path for our service staff & allowing the organization to further its goals & objectives
  • Ensure the Japan Service Center is operated with the highest levels of personal & company safety expectations in mind
  • TTT – provide world class service and repair training to service teams across all Japan market prior to product launch.
  • Service plan for new product launch – includes service tooling kit, special service tooling and equipment
  • Work closely with the Quality team on quality related feedback, and help sort issues with support from local service team
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to product manager about product spec and Japanese regulatory requirement including PSE, MIC, and JIS.

In addition to the above the candidate will require to participate in ad hoc projects as and when required


Job Qualifications

Requirements:

 

Academic & Experience:

  • 8 - 10 years progressive and successful management experience
  • Strong technical aptitude with problem solving skills
  • Determination to build a career with a forward-thinking business

General:

  • Ability to interact with various levels and functions internally and externally with strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • React quickly to a changing environment with the ability to work under pressure
  • Experiences with local and international standards and regulatory including ISO, IEC, JIS, PSE, MIC, etc. advantage.
  • Languages – Native level Japanese and business level English writing and speaking
  • Good IT skills e.g., MS Office, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.
