We are currently searching for an energetic, organized “Associate Multimedia and Graphic Designer” to work with our newly established Milwaukee Asia team in Tokyo, Japan. Successful candidates will have experience in leading the design projects for versatile markting activites both for internal & external customers. Job Summary & Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for the design and creation of on line/ off-line digital marketing assets and it’s optimisation to suit the needs of the Japanes market.
- Design marketing and promotion materials including leaflet, catalogue, banner, video, email campaigns, digital posts on social media etc both for internal & external use.
- Ability to create aestheticly sophisticated design that lends well to multiple platforms, social media, display advertising, eCommerce, websites and mobile apps.
- Provide and develop creative concepts and ideas.
- Ensure consistency of brand and creative across all design materials.
- Understand and respect the goals and work cooperatively within the existing parameters.
Job Qualifications
Requirements
Academic & Experience:
- Diploma or above in digital design, multimedia design, graphic communications or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Multimedia and Graphi Design, preferably at an agency or inhouse team for a product-driven business, or equivalent experience
- Excellent in Adobe Creative Series – Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, XD, Sketch.
- Experience working directly with developers to implement designs.
- Strong portfolio of design work, showing solution to business problems through effective design.
- Experience in creating visual effects and 2D animation is a plus
- Experience in managing livestream event and video production is a plus
- Possess strong conceptual skills, high-level sense of design, composition and layout.
- Creative with passion and willing to work under pressure and tight schedule.
- Proactive, responsible and able to work independently.
General:
- Detail minded with can-do attitude
- Languages – Native Japanese, Fluency in English prefered
- Good IT skills e.g., MS Office, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving and relationship building skills
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- A highly motivated self-starter with strong individual and team working skills
- Ability to work varied hours/days as required by the business
